UCT North America is a fraternal society formed under section 501.c.10 of the internal revenue code.

As a 501.c.10 non-profit, our charitable efforts across North America are made possible through our members, people who want to make a difference in their communities.

There are thousands of UCT North America members throughout the U.S. and Canada. Members can get involved with a UCT local council in their area or join with others to form their own council. Councils decide on a local basis which community causes and charities to support.

Giving back isn’t just something we say – we’ve been doing it for more than 136 years.

Uctna is a fraternal group who is organized into what is know as councils.

Local councils are the foundation of UCT. Through volunteering each local works to support the needs of its local community.

Local council members plan and conduct meetings, organize events, enjoy social activities and can serve as council leaders. Leadership positions include council president, vice president and secretary. Leadership is elected annually for a one-year term. Regional Councils provide leadership and direction to the local councils. Currently there are 24 regional councils in the U.S. and Canada. Regional leadership positions are elected annual for one-year terms.

Board of governors is comprised of members who represent a broad range of skills and experience and are responsible for UCTna’s overall direction. Board of governors are elected from UCT regional councils each year at our annual convention.

The mission of UCTna is to build good citizenship by providing volunteer opportunities through local councils and provide our members with benefits to enhance their lives while supporting their efforts in community service.
